Hello,I would like to add that it seems that apticron isn't using aptitude internally. It does recommends using aptitude when mailing you the pending updates to be done, but looking at the code it seems to be still using apt-get, not aptitude.
So, apticron mailing packages in hold may not be a bug in aptitude after all. Maybe it's a bug in apt-get for trying to update a package which was put on hold ?
