Hi! I want to share my files and filders with filenames and dirnames in russian language in utf-8 encoding. I attempt to change current remote catalog of my ftp-client (filezilla 2.2.32) to the catalog, which contains Russian letters in the name, but I get error message. The change current remote catalog to the catalog, which contains only English letters occurs successfully. For the illustration I attach the screenshot. In with right lower angle are the catalogs, where I want to enter - name of one consists only the English letters (marked with red), the name another consists from Russian letters. The first catalog I can enter without the problems (in the upper part of the screenshot, it is marked with red), the second - I get an error. Problem is not client-depended, different clients were checked. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-2-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages muddleftpd depends on: ii libc6 2.6.1-1+b1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcap1 1:1.10-14 support for getting/setting POSIX. ii libmysqlclient15off 5.0.45-1 MySQL database client library ii libpam0g 0.99.7.1-5 Pluggable Authentication Modules l ii logrotate 3.7.1-3 Log rotation utility muddleftpd recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
