Thats my fault, I signed his key with my alternate key which is not in
the Debian keyring (although it is signed by my keyid that is in the
keyring).

I've just sent Daniel signatures to add to his key that originate from
my Debian keyring gpg key, once he receives those, imports them into his
keyring, and then sends those keys to the keyserver, I believe this
keycheck issue will be resolved.
