Ok, I see. I use wdm and I hacked /etc/X11/wdm/Xsession so it never passes an argument to the real Xsession (except failsafe), so my .xsession is _always_ used. Exactly. Actually it didn't use to be that way, but I saw it recommended somewhere as I experimented with different wm's yesterday, and it struck me as a good idea, because it means I can start clients only after the wm runs and I never see the clients in half baked state without decorations. Is there a good argument _against_ this "weirdness"? :-) -- Ham is for reading, not for eating. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
