make[1]: *** [rpy.dvi] Error 1

One of the things I notice in this is the:
mkdir: cannot create directory `././home/buildd': Permission denied

I'm not sure what it's exactly trying to do, but /home/buildd, which
is set in $HOME, does not exist. On some of the other buildds you'll
also notice things like:
mkdir: cannot create directory `././nonexistent/.texmf-var': Permission denied

Please don't try to write to the home directory.
