When I delete a single message from my Inbox (say), the message is
moved to the Trash folder. This is the desired behavior.
But when I select more than one message and delete them all at once,
they aren't moved to Trash-- they're deleted and gone.

Thanks for your report. I have tried to delete several messages on my
Roundcube installation and they end in Trash. Here is how I delete
several messages:
- I select them (the first one and the last one with shift)
- I hit the delete icon (the one next to the print icon)
Yes, that is the procedure I use.
My IMAP server is Dovecot. What is yours?
I use bincimap. Note that this is the same situation as in bug
#443562-- the problem is so far known to exist only with bincimap. I
don't know if this is bincimap's fault or roundcube's, but I will
consider switching to dovecot, although I don't think it supports
bincimap's Maildir++ format.
