This feature request was forwarded upstream as
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=497863
and has been discussed upstream and marked as WONTFIX. Please refer to the
upstream bug report for the reasons behind this and, should you disagree
with them, voice your objections there.
