Toggling kill switch on my lappy causes the driver powering my device (ipw2200) to stop functioning, it dissassociates from whatever network it was currently connected to, wpa_supplicant processes this event and it emits a DISCONNECTED event to its ctrl_interface where a listening process can act upon it. I use the wpa-roam mode, and it acts on this event by taking the interface down with respect to ifupdown... > > In NetworkManager, the kill switch works as I expect, but I cannot use > it to take care of my network interfaces, because its capabilities are > to limited for my needs. You forgot to tell us how your wpa_supplicant is set up. Kel. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
