I haven't observed any visible data corruption, but my contacts DB is
huge, so I could have easily missed smth. What's displayed in the dialog
though looks like pure garbage, typical when a UTF string is viewed in a
single-octet codepage encoding. Sorry :(

and my pilot actually does use cp1251.
