Hello, Since the 0-day NMU policy is still in force (see [1]), I'm going to do a Non-maintainer upload now to fix this bug and an other policy violation (debhelper must be listed in Build-Depends because it is required for the clean target in debian/rules). The diff between the current version and my NMU is available at: http://people.debian.org/~fst/NMUs/achims-guestbook_2.53-1_2.53-1.1.diff
