/doc/viewcvs/ is allready alliased with /usr/share/doc/viewcvs. Viewcvs's image dir at least coveres this up with /usr/share/viewcvs/. Since /doc is local only there are bigger problems then just not being able to access the docs. In debian's httpd.conf... # Allow access to local system documentation from localhost. # (Debian Policy assumes /usr/share/doc is "/doc/", at least from the localhost$<IfModule mod_alias.c> Alias /doc/ /usr/share/doc/ </IfModule> <Location /doc> order deny, allow deny from all allow from 127.0.0.0/255.0.0.0 Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews </Location> -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (980, 'unstable'), (900, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.7-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages viewcvs depends on: ii cvs 1:1.12.9-3 Concurrent Versions System ii debconf 1.4.30 Debian configuration management sy ii mime-support 3.28-1 MIME files 'mime.types' & 'mailcap ii python 2.3.4-1 An interactive high-level object-o ii rcs 5.7-13.3 The GNU Revision Control System -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
