Following on the previous report, bug id #4103 was marked duplicate of #4066 (MSN connection problems). Patch has been already tested amb published.
It would be nice to have pidgin repackaged with latest patch in: http://pidgin.im/~nosnilmot/2.3.0-msnfix/pidgin-2.3.0-msn-allfixes.patch as stated in the report.
