Package: libgnome-keyring0 Version: 2.20.1-1 Severity: normal Hi,
grepping through the sources, the hard dependency of libgnome-keyring0 on gnome-keyring is bogus. I agree that you need the daemon to actually use the keyring but since gnome libs (including this one) are often only chained dependencies for programs that never use the keyring, this would reduce installation size for them. It is extremely rare that a lib actually _requires_ a program to run. Gnome-keyring is not such a case.
