The issue is that it may not work with all NAT boxes -- the UPnP Microsoft 
design is quite crappy and implementations differ slightly, and of course we 
cannot simply test against "all" NAT boxes out there.  You can go into the 
src/transports/upnp/ directory and run "make check" to see if UPnP works with 
your NAT.  If your NAT claims to support UPnP and it does not work, please 
report this (with model name and contact information) to GNUnet's Mantis 
bugtracking system and maybe we can find a way to make it work.

If your NAT works with GNUnet, all you have to do is enable the use of UPnP in 
the configuration file.
