Package: ucf Version: 3.004 Severity: normal Quite a while ago, I reportted a bug on drupal5, about a config file being edited during and update and getting chunks of "diffs" in it. Supposedly this problem was fixed?
Well, an update to drupal just went through this morning (20 minutes ago), and in the process of installing the update, it noticed that some drupal config file was different from what it should be. I asked to be shown a diff. Nothing was shown to the console. When I looked in the config file, the diffs were in the new config file again. Resulting in a config file which is not a legal config file. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.21 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages ucf depends on: ii coreutils 5.97-5.6 The GNU core utilities ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.17 Debian configuration management sy Versions of packages ucf recommends: pn debconf-utils <none> (no description available) -- debconf information: ucf/show_diff: ucf/changeprompt_threeway: keep_current ucf/title: ucf/changeprompt: keep_current -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
