todays DSL configurations support speeds far above pppstatus' maximum. Especially 1024, 2048 and 3072 are not configure-able with pppstatus currently. Having continuous/free speed configuration would be nice. Most likely, this is something to forward upstream. However, I'm not sure if upstream is still active.
