Package: libpam-ldap
Version: 180-1.7
Severity: normal

When setting "pam_password exop_send_old"
in the conffile /etc/pam_ldap.conf passwd segfaults:

Enter login(LDAP) password:
New password:
Re-enter new password:
Segmentation fault

Aktually I'm trying to get "pam_password exop" working, which stopped working
after upgrading from sarge to etch:

Enter login(LDAP) password:
New password:
Re-enter new password:
LDAP password information update failed: Unknown error

passwd: Permission denied
passwd: password unchanged

In /var/log auth.log messages like
Dec 13 12:13:48 quadopt3 passwd[18706]: pam_ldap: ldap_extended_operation_s
Insufficient access
could be found (with both settings).

Any idea how to debug the segfault ? As passwd is a suid program, strace didn't
work and a core is not left.
