(I don't actually use abraca or XMMS2 - my only interest in the package is that I've tried to fix its open RC bug #439567 - so I apologise if I'm misinformed about its capabilities.) Since abraca needs to connect to an xmms2d to do anything useful, I think it should Recommend either the xmms2 metapackage, or the daemon-related packages (core and plugins) depended on by that metapackage; I suspect they qualify as "packages that would be found together with this one in all but unusual installations". According to http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=440678 abraca can connect to remote xmms2 daemons, but it's not at all obvious how, and I suspect remote xmms2 is a rather unusual use-case. If I've missed something obvious, and you think connecting to remote xmms2d instances is a usual thing to do with abraca, then I think it should still have a Suggests: on the daemon. My AM has pointed out (in #439567) that explaining abraca's relationship to xmms2d in README.Debian would also be useful.
