Package: netapplet Version: 1.0.8-1+b1 Severity: wishlist The madwifi driver creates a wifi0 interface that's not directly usable as an interface: it doesn't show up as having a wireless interface according to iwconfig, and it's only used as a master node to create "virtual APs" like ath0.
It would be nice to have some way to hide wifi0 and only show ath0.
