Hello Fabian
Sorry, but I consider this problematic.
Why?
After further reading on the web site that you pointed my to, I found
the following thread where further modifications of the font are
presented:
http://forum.high-logic.com/viewtopic.php?t=1138
So now we have
- tuffy5.ttf
- tufinf2.ttf
- tuffy6.ttf
- tuff6la1.ttf
nice, but i'm not interested in these.
and additional the two aforementioned
- tuffymh3.ttf
- tuffymh4.ttf
I see two problems here: (1) I do not know and cannot decide which
one to
choose and (2) I am not
well mh4 is the newer/better version of mh3. i'd like to have mh4
please.
going to package each and every font that anyone has created from the
original Tuffy fonts. So I think I will keep packaging only the
original
fonts.
I only asked about tuffymh4.ttf
Additionally, in contrast to the original set those modified fonts are
not available as source files in the Fontforge format but only as
binary
ttf files.
Huh, how is that a problem for fontforge? It loads them and there you
can save
it as sfd again. Please have a look at http://krum.ethz.ch/fonts/
Please reconsider adding tuffymh4.ttf. You're conclusion is of
interest to me,
because I might take over the mh4 one and improve it, and create a
homepage
for it. Tell me if my working on the derivated font would change your
packaging
efforts or not...
Cheers,
Guerkan
