Strange... it is a fresh install of xfce4 (I always used Window Maker). Inside .config/xfce4/desktop/ there is only a file, called icons.screen0.rc, with this inside: [Sistema de Arquivos] row=2 col=0 [Início] row=1 col=0 (Sistemas de Arquivos = File system; Início = Start). And even if there was something locall to my user, would a global update-menus run by root affect my local user configs? Thank you! Best regards, Nelson
