Package: puppetmaster Version: 0.20.1-1 Severity: important Hi !
After recent Ruby security upgrade, puppet is not usable anymore in most configurations. We get error like this: Certificates were not trusted: hostname was not match with the server certificate Workarounds and references can be found here: http://www.reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/wiki/RubySSL-2007-006 Therefore, puppet is unusable in stable without messing with certificates management. Maybe a new version could be a proposed update? BTW, the first work-around does not work for me. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22.1-zoro.16 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
