Package: etckeeper Version: 0.6 Severity: wishlist Would it be possible to add support for svk as a version control backend for etckeeper? It would make it possible to keep /etc/ in version control without having special files in /etc/.
An example implementation for keeping /etc/ in svk is available as the debian-edu-etc-svk script in Debian Edu. The script is available from the debian-edu svn, <URL: http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/debian-edu/trunk/src/debian-edu-config/sbin/debian-edu-etc-svk?op=file&rev=0&sc=0 > I believe it is a good idea to move the functionality into a stand alone package, and migrate Debian Edu over to use such package, and etckeeper seem like a good candidate.
