Package: nss_ldap Version: 251-7.5etch1 On upgrade from libnss-ldap 251-7.5 -> 251-7.5etch1, debconf overwrites the old version of the config file, thus breaking a previously working system. I suggest it should work like all the other debconf scripts, i.e. asking whether the installed version should stay on the system, or to install the package maintainer's version.
