Package: insserv Version: 1.09.0-1 Severity: wishlist At the moment, "interactive" scripts are listed in /etc/insserv.conf, and these scripts will get a unique boot sequence number to make sure it isn't executed in parallel with other scripts.
It would be useful to be able to specify this in the scripts themselves, and not having to specify it in the insserv package. An alternative is for the packages to create /etc/insserv.conf.d/packagename with content like <interactive> scriptname But this is very insserv specific, and it would be better to have a LSB header next to the other dependency information specifying.
