Hi! I'm basically facing the same problem. There's no installation candidate for linux-image-2.6-k7. Would be nice to see that fixed, since I'd like to compile eg. the linux-uvc module, which needs the headers.
Is the -686 flavour the right thing to install on an Athlon?
