Hi Arjan,

The following two commands work already:

curl -O -A 'Debian uscan 2.10.11' http://nix.cs.uu.nl/dist/hut/ snapshots/uulib-latest-src.tar.gz curl -O -A 'Debian uscan 2.10.11' http://www.cs.uu.nl/wiki/pub/HUT/ Download/uulib-0.9.2-src.tar.gz

Can you try again?

Cheers and happy new year,

Alexey

Hi Raphael,

Thanks for your bug report.

Hello maintainer,

The debian/watch file of your package on the unstable distribution fails to report upstream's version.
Uscan's message follows:

----
uscan.pl warning: In watchfile /tmp/haskell-uulib_watchANxngr, reading webpage
  http://www.cs.uu.nl/wiki/HUT/Download failed: 403 Forbidden
----

This is caused by the web servers which forbids HTTP GET requests from
user agent "Debian uscan 2.10.11". Apparently the server is configured
to only allow request from some known browser with predictable user
agents strings:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/debian/haskell-uulib$ uscan --user-agent "Mozilla/ 5.0" --report --verbose
-- Scanning for watchfiles in .
-- Found watchfile in ./debian
-- In debian/watch, processing watchfile line:
   http://www.cs.uu.nl/wiki/HUT/Download .*/uulib-(.*)-src\.tar\.gz
-- Found the following matching hrefs:
     http://www.cs.uu.nl/wiki/pub/HUT/Download/uulib-0.9.2-src.tar.gz
     http://www.cs.uu.nl/wiki/pub/HUT/Download/uulib-0.9.1-src.tar.gz
     http://nix.cs.uu.nl/dist/hut/snapshots/uulib-latest-src.tar.gz
Newest version on remote site is latest, local version is 0.9.3~snapshot20070528
 => Newer version available from
    http://nix.cs.uu.nl/dist/hut/snapshots/uulib-latest-src.tar.gz
-- Scan finished

Alexey, can you or someone who has access adjust the web server to allow
request from the user agent string "Debian uscan" ? uscan is a Debian
program used to check whether Debian packages are in sync with the
upstream versions [1]

Greetings and a happy New Year,

        Arjan Oosting
