the attached patch fixes the problem with Core::close() and also the problem with the version string (i updated the regex)
yesterday the author of imapsync released a new version. And there he prints out: check_lib_version() or die "imapsync needs perl lib Mail::IMAPClient release 2.2.9 exactly, future imapsync release may suppoort 3.0.x, but sorry not now\n"; maybe i/we have to wait for a version which support Mail::IMAPClient 3.x Greetings Torsten
