A few packages get an ldd error, for example scalapack. This issue has not been completely tracked down or fixed.

This looks identical to the 268450, which is a kernel bug, fixed in kernel-source-2.4.27-7. I'll try a build with the kernel-image-2.4.27-9 which is currently in sid and should contain this fix.
