I expect other packages needing a newer version of ffmpeg as well. Sam, how is work coming along with the altivec patches? Can we perhaps even drop them? I'd very much like to upload the current ffmpeg/experimental package to unstable and update the package in experimental. Another option would be to just update in experimental.
