Johannes, thanks for the information. Changing my /etc/icedove/pref/icedove.js as you suggested got my other calendars back.

However, it also disabled the ability to click on any http:// link and have it open in x-www-browser. I was able to remedy this via leaving the:
  pref("network.protocol-handler.app.http", "x-www-browser");
enabled and just commenting out:
  // pref("network.protocol-handler.external.http", true);

Thought I'd share, as I'm sure others would be annoyed by this.

What I'm still unclear on is: why does the icedove setting come into play when calendar URLs are interpreted? I mean, a calendar URL has a very specific meaning, and opening the URL as if it were in an e-mail message seems silly to me.
