The reason it refuses to reorder the script is the following loop: > insserv: There is a loop between service mysql and mysql-ndb-mgm > insserv: loop involving service mysql-ndb-mgm at depth 3 > insserv: loop involving service mysql at depth 2 > insserv: loop involving service syslog at depth 1 This loop is due to a bug in the LSB headers of the init.d scripts in mysql, and reported as bug #458798.
