Although I am glad to see that complearn-gui now declares dependencies
on shared library packages, its Depends field still leaves out the
majority of the libraries it uses. I suspect that this is because you
list libraries manually, rather than simply taking advantage of the
${shlibs:Depends} substvar that dh_shlibdeps already supplies.
Could you please correct your control file's Depends: setting to
Depends: ttf-bitstream-vera, ${shlibs:Depends}
?
