I'm using an ATI card (M22 - Radeon Mobility M300) with the Free driver (r300), on a i386 processor, running a Debian sid. I asked Kibi to do the same test on his ppc machine, running Debian sid too, with an ATI card too (RS690 - Radeon X1200 Series) with the Free driver (r300), and he achieved the same result. Using another machine with an Nvidia card (NV11 - GeForce2 MX/MX 400) with the Free driver, on a i386 running a Debian sid, it was successful too. So, perhaps is there a problem with the proprieritary Nvidia driver and the program is not able to handle it gracefully. Could you test using the Free driver ? -- Marc Dequènes (Duck)
