Package: srg Version: 1.3.4-4 Severity: normal Hi Matt,
It would be nice if the srg cron script could check that $SRG exists and is executable: "The scripts or crontab entries in these directories should check if all necessary programs are installed before they try to execute them. Otherwise, problems will arise when a package was removed but not purged since configuration files are kept on the system in this situation." -- http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-opersys.html#s9.5 Perhaps the example cronjobs should be changed as well. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-rc3 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages srg depends on: ii libc6 2.7-5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.2.2-4 GCC support library ii libstdc++6 4.2.2-4 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 Versions of packages srg recommends: pn apache2 <none> (no description available) pn php5 <none> (no description available) pn squid <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
