from private mail: > #303533: CODA kernel version mismatch > http://bugs.debian.org/303533 > What I must do? Make a new package called davfs2-kernel2.4?
What's involved in making a 2.4-compatible package? What are the
differences between the two?
I am asking because I am trying to figure out what to do:
1. provide two conflicting packages (bad).
2. provide davfs2-kernel2.4, which diverts the necessary stuff
in the davfs2 module (okay)
3. make davfs2 install both and provide a wrapper which does the
appropriate thing according to the kernel version (preferred).
What do you think?
