It is probably related to ssh rather than svn itself as I'm using svn+ssh and ssh gives the same error: $ ssh alioth /var/lib/misc/services.db: No such file or directory Linux alioth 2.6.18-4-xen-amd64 #1 SMP Fri May 4 02:40:51 UTC 2007 x86_64
