Package: varnish Version: 1.1.2 varnishlog's logrotate entry causes troubles when varnishlog isn't running and the daily log rotation happens. It is annoying because most of the time I don't have neither varnish nor varnishlog running.
Here's the cron report: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate: cat: /var/run/varnishlog.pid: No such file or directory invoke-rc.d: initscript varnishlog, action "reload" failed. error: error running postrotate script for /var/log/varnish/varnish.log run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate exited with return code 1 (OT: Why is varnish a Debian native package anyway?)
