Please don't go out of display-header mode when nagivigating between
messages, or provide a config switch for those of us who want to stay
in display header mode if the user has not explicitly typed "h" again
to get back to normal view.

If I'm trying to compare two headers in a folder, for instance, then I
can't blink between them by going back and forth, since alpine now
forgets that I was in display-header mode.

Have you tried setting

[X] Suppress Full Header Auto Reset

in M S C? Does that address the issue?
