Though, it took me some time looking if the bug was submited upstream, to find out you're the submiter, and the discussion associated.. http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/9675 Honnestly, if would spare me some time to have more information when a patch is submited, in particular if you're the involved.. I think I agree with Brion, and as the maintainer, I would better see this fixed upstream, which has a better overview than me on the side effects.
