You are right, but I mean these strings:
2001: "... switch, to a hub or to a tap)"
11001: "You are running Snort manually"
12001: "There is an error in your configuration"
12001: "... different interfaces)"
13001: "This system uses an obsolete configuration file"
14001: "... reconfigure -plow snort-mysql'"
19001: "... log to before it starts"
1001: "Your configuration file is deprecated"
These have all nouns and verbs, so IMO they should end with dot.
In case of a short description, perhaps it could be shorter, to remove
the verb? E.g.:
"Your configuration file is deprecated" -> "Deprecated configuration
file"
Had English language team already reviewed your templates?
Perhaps they could help here, I'm not an English native speaker.
Kindly regards,
Erik
