Hi, I can confirm this behavior on my amd64 unstable box. rkward needs to be recompiled, because it is linked to blas (although Thomas said blas symbols are not used anywhere).
The same issue arose with rkward 0.5, and also with the R package mgcv, which is linked against blas. I am filing a bug report against mgcv in a minute so Dirk can force a recompile there, too.
