Package: liferea
Version: 1.4.11-1
Severity: wishlist

liferea currently supports the namespace <http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/>, but only with the updated syntax[0]. The updated syntax is not only a draft, but is considerably less useful than the original. I use the original in my RSS feed[1] and liferea doesn't support it. I would like liferea to support the original syntax, in addition to the updated syntax that (AFAIK) it supports now. This should be easy to implement, since the two do not have any of the same elements.

[0] See the namespace URI for the two different syntaxes.
