Well, It is not a vim-latexsuite bug. I bet you have installed other
package containing vim script which had messed the documentation.
Please run the following command:
dpkg -S /usr/share/vim/addons/doc/* | cut -d: -f1 | sort -u
and send me the output.

Please gzip them again and run as root command:
helpztags /usr/share/vim/addons/doc
