This is a bad idea as you'll have to fix bugs twice, or, perhaps more relevantly, any security updates to the common code will have to be applied twice. I expect you'll hear from the security team sooner or later about this, as they are generally unimpressed by this approach. Does this mean that you would be willing to move ntfs-3g to /?
