winelauncher is deprecated according to upstream:

they even refuse to fix bugs in that script because of this.
I've patched winelauncher without upstream's help before... there are a
couple of things to look at on my todo list.
Please, could you remove it from the package and switch to wine.bin ?
While I've recently reviewed what I'd have to change to remove
winelauncher (given that I don't install Wine's support binaries in the
PATH or anything), and it's promising, I still think the answer is "no"
for now. Besides the obvious user-friendliness features, which are nice,
I need it to put up a warning box when Wine is launched from mailcap.
