Hi there, there is a new version of it and the process of getting it into ubuntu (hardy, hardy+1) is going well. Therefore it is packaged more carefully by the upstream author (me). At the moment of writing, the new package is to be found at http://revu.tauware.de/details.py?package=blueproximity
