Package: piuparts Version: 0.30 Severity: wishlist piuparts -d etch -d lenny fails when the package being tested depends on apache2 because apache2's maintainer scripts modify /etc/default/apache2, which causes dpkg to issue a conffile question during the upgrade procedure, which makes piuparts fail.
Adding force-confdef to /etc/dpkg/dpkg.cfg seems to help here. I do not know whether it would be appropriate to use that option generally inside the piuparts chroot.
