Yes, this comes from then notion that export-dir means "build the last
committed tree because I want a 100% clean build (to upload)" but
snapshot means "I need a quick version to test with". I could make the
two options incompatible but this isn't a nice solution. I'd rather add
something to let export-dir take the current state of the working copy
instead of the tree.
