Hi Ondrej, Alas, I can't seem to reproduce your bug at the moment.
However, I wonder if you could determine whether the applet is making a HTTP connection for these 'broken' bugs at all? A program like Wireshark or tcpdump would do the trick here. If the program did not perform a call, it would suggest that we've wedged something, whilst if it does, there might be some problem with the bug state handler. Interestingly, the applet should be fairly resistant to this sort of thing - see the HACKING file in the repository[0]. Additionally, you may wish to check out #465714 for the debugging information that was left in for the 0.1 upload.
